How to find large videos on iPhone
Updated October 2026 · 3 min read
One minute of 4K video at 60 fps takes around 400 MB, as much as a hundred photos. A few forgotten clips can fill gigabytes of storage.
Find videos in the Photos app
- Open Photos and scroll to Media Types.
- Tap Videos. Each thumbnail shows the clip's length.
- Long clips are usually the biggest. Open one, tap the ⓘ button to see its size and resolution, and delete what you don't need.
The catch: Photos can't sort videos by size, and a short 4K clip can be bigger than a long low-resolution one.
Sort videos by size with Emberoll
- Open Emberoll and tap Large Videos.
- Videos are listed biggest first, grouped by month, with the size of each one.
- Select the ones you don't need, tap Delete and confirm.
Large Videos is part of Emberoll Pro, and it also opens for free on day 40 of your daily cleanup streak.
Record smaller videos from now on
In Settings → Camera → Record Video, choose 1080p at 30 fps for everyday clips. It takes roughly a sixth of the space of 4K at 60 fps.
